Welcome To Dutton Hall

Dutton Hall historic house and gardens is situated in the picturesque Ribble Valley, near Ribchester. On our website you will see all the latest news and details of our upcoming charity events and you can keep up to date with everything that's happening at Dutton Hall!

The gardens; which house a unique collection of old fashioned roses, including a Plant Heritage National Collection; comprise both traditional & contemporary elements. They are open to the public on specified days for charity. Private bookings for groups are also welcome. Within the building, we also offer venue facilities link for small events.

Saturday 14 September 2019 – Hips and Haws

Plant Heritage North West Group are holding an Information Day at Dutton Hall on Saturday 14th September 2019. There will be a talk about the work of Plant Heritage, a tour of the garden to look at Hips and Haws, a some short talks and practical demonstrations.

All this is FREE with just a £10 charge for Morning Coffee and a Buffet Lunch.

Assemble for Coffee at 10.15 and start at 10.45am

OPEN GARDEN 2018

Come along to our fabulous open garden event here at Dutton Hall, with beautiful scenery, plants for sale and homemade teas and cakes. there’s something for everyone.  Plus, its all for Charity.   We’re working in conjunction with The National Garden Scheme & Plant Heritage, so why not join us for a day of fun.

Open: Sunday 24th June 1-5pm

Wednesday 27th June 6-8.30pm

Adults £5  Children free

Photography exhibition

Why not drop in at our open garden weekend- 24th & 25th June, 1-5pm- to explore our fantastic photography exhibition? We have partnered with Photography by Laura-
https://instagram.com/laurakatenutter – to present an exhibition of unique and beautiful photographs of our stunning gardens, so that you can experience them in all four seasons. Such an exhibition is not available at any other NGS garden, so why not come along? Entry is free when you purchase a £5 garden ticket.

The Garden will open to the public on Saturday 24th June and Sunday 25th June for the NGS yellow book scheme.  The opening times are the same on both days, 1pm – 5.00pm and there will be teas available and a plant stall.  The Garden is also open to the public for the NGS on the evening of Wednesday 28th June 6.30pm – 8.00pm refreshments and a plant stall.

If you would like to visit the garden but cannot visit us on either of these days, private group tours are available but these must be booked at least a week in advance. Please see our contacts page if you would like to get in touch.
